Vitiligo

London Vitiligo Meetup 2016 Confirmed!

I’m incredibly excited to announce that we have a date, time and location for the London Vitiligo Meetup:

When: Saturday 20th of February 2016

Where: Mezzanine room, Waterloo Action Centre

Time: 12.30pm – 3.30pm

Guest speakerDr Anjali Mahto

In an effort to get people with Vitiligo in London connected, making friends and supporting each other, I’m subsiding the cost of renting the room and equipment. I’m asking for absolutely nothing in return (no fee, no donations) expect that everyone makes an extra special effort to come! As I’ve mentioned previously, I really hope this gives you all the opportunity to network with others that are dealing with condition, or those that have loved ones dealing with it. Everyone is welcome!

I’ve chosen a location right next to Waterloo Station to make it easier to get to for most in London and even for those that may be travelling from further afield. There is also a very loose agenda, I’ll probably do a short intro to kick things off at 12.45pm and Dr Mahto will follow with 45 mins on current Vitiligo treatments and the future. I’ve seen Dr Mahto present before and she is fantastic, I’m so grateful that she has agreed to come and talk. I’m sure she will also be willing to have a Q&A for you to ask any questions.

Following this, take as much time as you need to meet with others and chat. I’m excited to meet all of you, and if we have a successful turnout, I would definitely plan to run another in the second half of the year!

It’s bring your own refreshments and for directions to Waterloo Action Centre, please see this map

I’ll follow up if I’ve missed anything out, but please don’t hesitate to contact me for any reason at all.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the meetup! 🙂

Thanks for all your posts Simon- I appreciate your honesty about what works/doesn’t work/you find hard- we can all relate in some way. And for making the effort to organise the events- it’s hard work! Will try to be there on Sat if I can make it! Cheers x
