About Me

Hi, I'm Simon.

I live in London, UK and was diagnosed with Vitiligo at the age of 13. This is my Blog where I document my journey treating the skin condition.

Vitiligo is a non-contagious skin condition in which pigment is lost from the skin causing white patches and it’s thought to affect 1-4% of the worlds population. It is not known what causes it (although a number of theories do exist) and currently there is no cure. Fortunately, there are a number of treatments to help manage the condition and repigment the skin.

I started this personal blog in 2013 and in 2016 became a Trustee for the London based charity, The Vitiligo Society. I became Chaiperson for the Society in 2020.
