I recently reached out to a UK Charity called the Vitiligo Society to inform them I was working to create a meetup in London. Yesterday, I met with two of the Trustees for an initial conversation on how we could potentially partner to increase Vitiligo awareness and support in the UK. There could be some exciting things coming up, so watch this space!
Coincidentally, as I was discussing the idea of a group meetup in London, they informed me of a Vitiligo Open Day they are hosting on the 31st of October.
This isn’t a replacement for the informal group get-together that I’m planning as I’ve had about 30 people register interest so far. When I’ve got the details sorted out (such as venue, date, etc), I’ll reach out to those who registered interest as well as posting the information on the blog.
Regardless, I’m going to be attending the open day on the 31st so it would be great to see you there too!
I’ve included details and agenda below, Polly Gotschi will be speaking who recently featured on “Dragons Den” and won funding for her Vitiligo Camouflage product. Registration is £5 for Members and £10 non-members. Click here to register.
